Delhi Capitals (110/9)

Prithvi Shaw (10/11): Trent Boult to Prithvi Shaw, OUT! CAUGHT! Shaw’s poor form continues. Not a good return for him once again. Boult gets the second wicket. A shortish ball on middle, Shaw makes room and looks to pull but is really early in the shot. The ball takes the toe end and balloons high in the air towards short fine leg. Quinton de Kock calls for it and gobbles it easily. It went really high but de Kock kept his eyes on the ball all the time and in the end made it look really easy.

Shikhar Dhawan (0/2): Trent Boult to Shikhar Dhawan, OUT! TAKEN! Dhawan falls for a 2-ball duck. A sharp catch at deep backward point! A short ball outside off, Dhawan looks to flay it through point but ends up playing it straight to the fielder at backward point. Suryakumar does well to lunge forward and take it inches above the turf. The umpires want to confirm if it is a clean catch. They go upstairs with the soft signal being out. Replays roll in. A number of angles checked and the third umpire seems happy. The signal from him is out. Dhawan has to go.

Shreyas Iyer (25/29): Rahul Chahar to Shreyas Iyer, OUT! STUMPED! Rahul Chahar strikes right on his second delivery and he gets the big wicket of Shreyas Iyer! Beautifully bowled by the spinner and de Kock is very quick to whip the bails off! Another breakthrough for Mumbai and Delhi are in a bit of a pickle now. Chahar dishes a loopy delivery around off, Iyer lunges forward and looks to defend but it spins away past his outside edge into de Kock’s mitts and he whips the bails off in a flash. The square leg umpire wants to take this upstairs and replays show that his foot was not in the crease. Iyer walks back. Mumbai are on top of Delhi right now.

Rishabh Pant (21/24): Jasprit Bumrah to Rishabh Pant, OUT! LBW! Another one bites the dust and Mumbai and Bumrah are all over Delhi at the moment! This is a terrible batting start by Delhi and they just do not seem to be getting it right! It is their danger man Pant who walks back now. Bumrah goes for a good length delivery around off and middle, Pant looks to flick but misses and gets hit on the pads. The players appeal loudly and the umpire obliges raising his finger. Pant goes to his partner and consults him and decides to take the review. Ultra Edge comes in and there is nothing. Ball Tracker rolls in and it is three reds! Pant is a goner and Mumbai have another wicket!

Marcus Stoinis (2/3): Jasprit Bumrah to Marcus Stoinis, OUT! EDGED AND CAUGHT! Bumrah gets a wicket! What a great delivery by Bumrah and Stoinis walks back to the hut! The wheels are falling off for Delhi. Stoinis walks back doing practically nothing for them! Bumrah dishes a good length delivery around off, Stoinis looks to drive this one but it nips away and kisses the outside edge and de Kock is as safe as house.

Shimron Hetmyer (11/13): Nathan Coulter-Nile to Shimron Hetmyer, OUT! TAKEN! Hetmyer falls now and Delhi continue to sink. The last recognized batsman has been sent packing. Short ball on middle, Hetmyer looks to pull but it gets a bit big on him. The ball hits the upper half of the bat and goes straight to Krunal at deep square leg. A straightforward chance for the elder Pandya.

Harshal Patel (5/9): Jasprit Bumrah to Harshal Patel, OUT! LBW! Another one bites the dust and that is Bumrah’s third scalp of this game! Patel did not seem to agree that this was out but there are no reviews left and he has to walk back. Full delivery on middle and leg, Harshal looks to flick this away but misses it. It goes onto hit his pads. Bumrah appeals and the umpire raises his finger. It looked like it might have been missing the leg stump and also the height could have been an issue but Delhi cannot do anything as they have no reviews left. Delhi are falling apart with the bat.

Ravichandran Ashwin (12/9): Trent Boult to Ravichandran Ashwin, OUT! TAKEN! Terrific catch from Krunal. A slower fuller ball around middle, Ashwin looks to slam it over the bowler’s head but ends up getting a top edge. The ball goes high in the air. Krunal from long on runs to his left and takes the catch with a dive to his left. He almost overran there but made sure he held onto it. Top stuff from Mumbai overall!

Kagiso Rabada (12/7): Jasprit Bumrah to Kagiso Rabada, OUT! RUN OUT! Great work from Bumrah! Last ball of the innings and the paces shows full commitment. A length ball on middle and leg, Rabada looks to slog but misses to get hit on the pad. He thinks for a leg bye but the non-striker shows no interest. Bumrah quickly gets to the ball as Rabada tries to return to his crease. Bumrah hits the stumps. The third umpire has been called for. One replay and it is enough to prove that Bumrah has done a terrific job to find Rabada short. Delhi end with 110/9.

Pravin Dubey* (7/13): Jasprit Bumrah to Kagiso Rabada, OUT! RUN OUT! Great work from Bumrah! Last ball of the innings and the paces shows full commitment. Mumbai Indians (111/1)

Quinton de Kock (26/28): Anrich Nortje to Quinton de Kock, OUT! TIMBER! Unfortunate for de Kock but Delhi do not care! They needed to break this stand and they have done just that! It is de Kock’s country-man Anrich Nortje who has removed him! Back of a length delivery around off, de Kock waited for this one and wanted to work this late to the third man region, but it come off the lower part of his bat and went onto hit the stumps.

Ishan Kishan* (72/47) and Suryakumar Yadav* (12/11): Anrich Nortje to Ishan Kishan, SIX! Kishan finishes things off in style! Brilliant use of the wrists. A full ball on middle, he uses the wrists and wallops it deep into the deep square leg fence. Mumbai win by 9 wickets.
