Zimbabwe (156/6)

Brendan Taylor (20/13): Haris Rauf to Brendan Taylor, OUT! Taylor holes out! Big blow to Zimbabwe! Rauf angles in a fuller length ball around off, Brendan uses his wrists for the flick shot but fails to keep it down, rather he wanted to play it aerial but fails to get enough power or timing behind his shot. A simple catch for Haider Ali at deep square leg. A disappointed Taylor returns after getting a start.

Chamu Chibhabha (0/2): Mohammad Hasnain to Chamu Chibhabha, OUT! Hitting the stumps! The skipper bags a duck. Hasnain with early success yet again. He angles in a length ball around off and gets it to skid into the batsman. Chibhabha is stuck inside the crease as he tries to work it around on the leg side. Gets beaten by pace and is struck on the front pad. The appeal is made and the finger goes up. Chamu refers the decision after having a word with his partner. The replays roll in and it finds everything in line. Three reds and the skipper is on his bike. Early exit for him.

Sean Williams (25/24): Usman Qadir to Sean Williams, OUT! TIMBER! Usman Qadir gets his first wicket in international cricket. What a proud moment for the young man. He was expensive in his first over but has come back well in the second. Brilliant delivery. Qadir tosses this one on off, Williams dances down the track and then looks to go big over the bowler’s head but he misses and the ball goes onto hit the off stump. Williams wastes a good start.

Sikandar Raza (7/5): Wahab Riaz to Sikandar Raza, OUT! Riaz bounces back after going for 10 runs in the over. He sends back Sikandar with a snorter of a delivery. A well-directed short ball, around middle and leg, Raza is taken by surprise as it shoots up off the surface. Tries to fend it off but ends up getting it off the shoulder of his bat. Rizwan runs forward swiftly and takes the catch safely.

Ryan Burl (8/15): Haris Rauf to Ryan Burl, OUT! TIMBER! Brilliant stuff from Rauf. He gets his second wicket. Burl was struggling to time the ball and he perishes. Rauf runs in and bowls a pacy length delivery on middle, Burl looks to hammer it to the leg side but gets an inside edge onto the stumps. Zimbabwe failing to find the final flourish.

Elton Chigumbura (21/13): Wahab Riaz to Elton Chigumbura, OUT! CAUGHT! The innings finishes with a wicket. 15 runs from the last over. Good length ball outside off, Chigumbura looks to go big on the off side but it takes the top edge and goes towards point. Hafeez runs back and manages to catch it on the second attempt. ZIMBABWE END ON 156 FOR 6.

Wesley Madhevere* (70/48): Wahab Riaz to Elton Chigumbura, OUT!

Pakistan (157/4)

Fakhar Zaman (19/12): Blessing Muzarabani to Fakhar Zaman, OUT! A disappointing end to what was looking a good knock! Back of a length ball on middle, Fakhar stays back and tries to power his shot over the leg side. But the ball bounces a tad more on his bat and takes the top edge. Chigumbura settles underneath it at mid on and takes the catch despite being off-balance. 121 needed off 96 balls.

Babar Azam (82/55): Tendai Chatara to Babar Azam, OUT! CAUGHT! Azam falls after playing a magnificent knock. He failed to pick the slower ball and perishes. Do Zimbabwe still have a chance? Slower ball on middle, Azam looks to hammer it over deep mid-wicket but does not get it off the middle. It goes flying in the deep where Madhevere runs ahead and takes a simple catch. 15 needed from 18 balls.

Haider Ali (7/8): Richard Ngarava to Haider Ali, OUT! CAUGHT! What a ripper of a delivery from Ngarava and a terrific catch from Brendan Taylor. Good length ball on off, shaping away. Haider Ali looks to flick but closes the face of the bat early and edges to the right of the keeper. Taylor dives to that side and takes a wonderful one-handed catch. The appeal is made and the finger is up. Haider walks. Pakistan need 95 in 73 balls.

Mohammad Hafeez (36/32): Blessing Muzarabani to Mohammad Hafeez, OUT! TIMBER! Action and drama in the middle, just 1 needed and Hafeez departs. Good piece of bowling from Muzarabani. Length ball on off, angling in. Hafeez looks to defend but gets an inside edge onto the stumps.

Khushdil Shah* (5/4) and Mohammad Rizwan* (0/3): Blessing Muzarabani to Mohammad Rizwan, NOT OUT! That’s it! Pakistan win! Good length ball on the pads, Rizwan looks to swing it away but misses and gets hit on the pads. Zimbabwe appeal but nothing from the umpire as the batsmen cross. Zimbabwe take the review. The Ball Tracker rolls in and it shows that it is going down leg. PAKISTAN WIN BY 6 WICKETS.
